Sizing Press Crankshaft Fracture
Scot Forge produced a 4,400# replacement crankshaft including forging, quench and Crankshaft Fracturetempering, mechanical testing and rough machining in a total of 9 days. Outside finish machining took 12 days for a total of 3m weeks. Another forge shop had originally quoted the customer 18 weeks!

Hydraulic Press Broken Tie Rod
The first of four replacement 40,000# tie rods were forged, sonic tested, normalized, quench and tempered, mechanical tested, and rough turned - all in 15 days and over a New Year's holiday - by Scot Forge.
