Nondestructive
testing, sometimes referred to as nondestructive examination,
is an examination or test method used to disclose discontinuities
that may exist within a test specimen. This testing or examination
is performed in such a way that will allow the specimen
being tested to remain unchanged.

All
personnel performing nondestructive testing at Scot Forge
are certified in accordance with written procedures that
meet and exceed the requirements of SNT-TC-1A (A guideline
for the "Qualification and Certification of Nondestructive
Testing Personnel" published by the American Society
of Nondestructive Testing).
